Dialogue with a stone was published in relation to my residency period at Kaus Australis. Testing the intersections of subject and object, fragmented narratives emerged as reactions to materials and objects. This publication captures the result of this work period, a room installation. A large, map-like topographic drawing, formed into thought-images, conversing with variable forms of arrangements, assemblages and combinations of sculptures and objects. How can a sculpture transform into a dialogue? Are there rules to put things in relation? What is the time span of a moment? When is an object unattached to another object? Time, space, form, body, language.
Language became drawing, became object, remained abstract; a written form, as interpretable, transformable, loaded and released at the same time as the objects in the installations.
